2024 Event: SOAR Golf Outing - Organized by SOAR Golf Outing Task Force

Description

SOAR Golf Outing held on August 5th @ Stillmeadows Golf Course. Teams consist of (4) people.  Each paid team will receive 18 Holes of Golf, Golf Cart, Lunch & Drinks.  

Course Information:

  • The golf course was designed by William Diddel and features 18 holes.
  • The total yardage from the longest tees is approximately 6,410 yards.
  • The par for the course is 70.
  • The course rating is 71.8, and it has a slope rating of 12923.
  • There are 3 sets of tees available for different skill levels.
  • The greens and fairways are made of bent grass3.
  • Stillmeadow Country Club (formerly known as Royal Oak Country Club) sits 15 miles from downtown Cincinnati and features an 18-hole championship, as well as plenty of practice facilities and a massive clubhouse, at 17,000 square feet.

    Stillmeadow Country Club's course was designed by Bill Diddel, a prolific Indiana architect who's faded into obscurity. A charter member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, Diddel was born in 1884 and saw his first round of golf before the turn of the 20th century, perched on a hill in the Crown Hill Cemetery that overlooked what has become Indianapolis' Woodstock Country Club. He would go on to win Indianapolis's City Amateur as a high school senior and five Indiana State Amateur titles - as well as leave his mark on more than 250 golf courses, most of them in the Midwest.
